Foundation walls are up, and the structure is starting to take shape.
This project sits right by Ames Lake, on a sloped lot with elevation changes and limited access. The kind of site that'll look amazing when the house is done — but you have to earn it. It took careful planning, precise excavation, and engineered retaining walls. Every step had to be coordinated to get drainage, structural stability, and long-term durability right.
As of now the load-bearing foundation walls are complete, interior sections are formed, and we're getting the base ready for the next phases. Below grade is where accuracy matters most — everything above stands on this. Proper reinforcement, clean formwork, and the details no one will ever see again but that hold the house together for decades.
This foundation is on its way to becoming a full custom home overlooking the water. We'll keep posting progress.
